Congratulations to Our 2026 ASHRAE SoCal Scholarship Recipients

We are proud to recognize five Cal Poly San Luis Obispo students who applied for the 2026 ASHRAE SoCal Chapter scholarships. Of these applicants, four students were selected to receive awards in recognition of their academic achievements, leadership, and involvement in the HVAC&R industry.

This year’s scholarship recipients are:

• Grace Murphy (Edward Schmidt Scholarship Recipient)
• Andrew Chapin
• Ian Helton
• Lucas Meneghetti

In total, Cal Poly students were awarded $33,750 in scholarships this year.

These awards highlight the continued strength of Cal Poly students within the ASHRAE community and reflect their dedication to the HVAC&R field.

We congratulate all of the applicants for their efforts and extend special recognition to this year’s award recipients for their outstanding accomplishments.
